(A full 4 oz.!)
An incredibly BETTER version of Neosporin, all-natural, and WITHOUT petroleum jelly in it (petroluem jelly is a by-product of petroleum, first discovered on oil rigs)!
First aid in a natural salve! Why use status quo chemicals on a store shelf, when you can employ what Mother Nature gave us to heal ourselves? Wise women of old and new know the power of these leaves, blossom, roots & bark for skin and wound-healing.
The presence of iridoids in plantain has a very soothing, anti-inflammatory effect on skin. It also contains aglycone and aucubigenin – which have documented antimicrobial activity – and allantoin, which supports skin healing! Attributes of plantain are an excellent remedy for: bee/wasp stings, spider bites, mosquito and other flying bug bites, excema, psoriasis, sunburn, diaper rash, poison ivy/oak/sumac. Comfrey, calendula, yarrow, slippery elm bark, chamomile and echinacea all contribute to anti-inflammatory effects and wound healing! An all-around must-have salve. We infuse our olive oil with these herbs 4 weeks in our California sun before straining and making our precious salve! A few drops of lavender essential oil are added.
Consult with your physician before using any herbal preparations if you are pregnant, for use on an infant, or if your skin is compromised in any way (due to radiation therapy, etc.)
