Embrace the Ritual of Dry Brushing!
Dry Brushing is known to boost circulation, help sweep away dead skin cells, stimulate the lymph nodes, improve digestion, improve the appearance of cellulite, and help the cells and body in general to remove waste. Stimulating the lymphatic system is the core of all its benefits.
Dry brushing is very easy to incorporate into your routine. Most experts recommend dry brushing in the morning, rather than before bed because of its energizing qualities. Best to do it in your shower or bath, BEFORE you shower or bathe, and where dead skin cells can fall off and not leave a mess. Follow-up dry-brushing with a skin-nourishing handmade soap bath or shower!
Start at your feet and brush upward towards the heart. Similarly, when you start on your arms, begin at the hands and work upward. Use firm, small strokes upwards, or work in a circular motion. Harsh exfoliation is never the point; the brush we offer here is "just right"! Dedicate at least three to five minutes to brushing. Regular dry brushing can help smooth the appearance of cellulite, too, and give your skin a revitalized glow!
Be sure to vigorously flick the bristles of your brush after each use to shake out dead skin cells, and wash your brush at least once a week with warm water and a mild soap! Do not use harsh cleaners as they will deteriorate the natural bristles.
